Interactive media for “interactive” teaching and learning

The aim of the course is to make participants familiar with the use of technology in the classroom showing good practice examples and explaining the methodology of ICT supported teaching and learning.  The course is divided into thematic sessions each starting with a presentation followed by discussion and project work in groups.
The topics of the course range from the methodology of project based teaching, to the use of interactive whiteboards and social media, ways of increasing learner autonomy through the use of ICT in teaching, the production of audiovisual media and their use in teacher and student led projects.

The participants of the course get the chance to experiment with their newly acquired knowledge during group work and projects. Outside of the classroom there are many chances to  get to know the life and culture of the island, visit various places of interest and exchange with local teachers and educators.

The course has been implemented from 2010-2014 under the LLP Comenius & Grundtvig program (Ref. Nr. CY-2010-061-009) and continues for the third year under the Erasmus+ KA1 program.
